Privacy in plain words

Your chats belong to you. Only you can read them, and only the single answer you report is ever shown to our team.
A Pal sees the last few messages in the chat you are in, your pinned note and anything you asked it to remember. It does not read your other Pals' chats unless you turn that on.
We do not sell your data or use your chats to show you ads.
You can download everything we hold, clear one Pal's data, or delete your account (it is removed after seven days unless you cancel).
Security emails always reach you. Other emails you can turn off.
